After reading Austin Kleon's blog for sometime and not being able to post here more(which I really want to do) because of other things and research for bigger, more elaborate and interesting articles, I got an idea. I am launching TIFI (Things I Found Interesting) this week, this is a weekly documentation of random things that I found interesting that week, from videos to songs to books to art to the most random things in my world. I will write this every week between bigger articles which will be published every second week. Hopefully this will help me be consistent and share things that I liked with you every week.
Without further ado, let's start...
I am really getting into films/movies more and more nowadays, doing more film analyzing and trying to find what the film is saying and recently one of my favourite YouTube channel has become Patrick(H)Willems and his amazing video essays about movies and various aspects of it, and his latest video on 'How to Analyze Movies' is an amazing gateway in the craft and is like a full semester worth of film studies. I definitely recommend if you are interested or want to be. Also I am really liking the letterboxd app right now, it's a movie watch tracker, watchlist and ratings app which is quite well built and is feature rich. (You can find me as Polymind in the member or hq option in the search widget, give me a follow, I'll do too)
I really like ancient Egypt and things concerning it and just found this incredible looking graphics and photographs of Tutankhamun's tomb, fascinating and enchanting.
From National Geographic magazine (Nov. 2022) This clip is one of the most interesting clip I have seen this week, so cool. The tune is catchy and very satisfying.
I warn you, if you listen to this song, it will just get stuck in your head and keep looping but it is good so I can look past that, this is zungguzungguguzungguzeng, fantastic song to get your mood up.
Finally the most random and interesting thing of the week, this is screamac, a macroni pasta which looks like it is screaming, so cool.
So this was my first attempt at TIFI, this felt good, will definitely see you all next week.
